Fire sprinkler systems save lives by acting early and controlling a fire before the fire department can arrive. By preventing the spread of fire, fire sprinklers increase the likelihood of survival in a fire by allowing people to evacuate safely and by reducing the amount of toxic fumes released by a fire.
